chabil mar villas, guest exclusive boutique resort was phenomenal. our luxury one-bedroom villa was stunning and immaculate. the staff was fantastic, especially our shuttle driver, latchco, who made our transportation seamless. it's conveniently close to town yet tranquil, and i loved that there were no plastic bottles used on-site.

Our stay was absolutely magical. The staff went above and beyond, especially Nikita and William, who carefully orchestrated every detail of my engagement on the beach. Our villa had breathtaking ocean views that made every moment special, and the food was deliciously served right on our balcony. This truly felt like a personal getaway with the privacy and luxury we desired.

great stay but some beach concerns

The suite exceeded my expectations, showcasing stunning decor and impeccable cleanliness. The staff was consistently friendly, ensuring our needs were met while respecting our privacy. I particularly enjoyed the breathtaking sea view, which enhanced our overall experience and made for amazing sunrise moments.

However, the beach conditions weren't ideal, with rocky areas that could be challenging for some swimmers.

Had an amazing time with friends at this resort. The guided tour of Cockscomb Basin was a highlight, where we saw exotic birds and even jaguars. The staff was super friendly, and we loved lounging by the beautiful pools. Don't miss the opportunity to ride bikes into town and enjoy local cuisine. It was an unforgettable trip!

Wi-Fi connectivity was spotty in our villa, which made checking in on work a bit challenging. However, there were better connections around the beach and pool areas.

Beautiful property and pools.

The villa was spotless and beautifully designed, providing a great home base for our stay. Staff were consistently welcoming, going above and beyond to assist with excursions. The traditional Italian dishes served were outstanding, but a heads-up on the beach conditions would have been appreciated.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the spacious villa and the lovely pools. The special birthday surprise with flowers was such a sweet touch! The spa treatments were amazing, and we loved lounging by the pool to soak in the sun. 🌊

Our stay was incredible! We loved the beautiful, lush surroundings filled with vibrant plants that attracted various wildlife. The staff went above and beyond, especially Dunnis, who brought us delicious meals to our balcony every morning and Lacho, who was always ready to drive us into town. The pool area was stunning and the food delivered all over the property was simply marvelous! !

However, the rocky beach made swimming a bit tricky, which might not be ideal for families with small kids.

We loved the orientation tour! Arriving at our villa with tropical flowers and a personal card was such a warm touch. The staff, especially Anselmo, really made our beach days unforgettable with quick service and delicious ceviche. We even explored Placencia on rented bikes.

For dads, it would be great to have more areas for young kids to play safely.

Our villa was steps away from the beach, which was perfect for quick swims. The staff were super friendly and even set up a romantic beach dinner for us. Only thing is the rocky beach made it hard for the little one to play, but the pools were a great alternative. 😊
